It recently arrived and needed new parts which we replaced with new genuine Steinway Parts. The result is a Steinway with the sound and touch of a like-new instrument — both visually and musically stunning. This Steinway arrived at our store from a family that purchased the piano from us new. Like most newly purchased Steinways, the piano was impeccably maintained with a regular maintenance schedule and kept in a proper environment. These particular buyers at the time, were drawn to the sound of this exact Steinway. With only one player, the family decided to purchase a player system as an add on so that they could hear the piano being performed on by the world’s best pianists and great artists, with the touch of their iPad!
Since the player system does not affect the sound or touch of the piano, and since there is virtually no way of knowing that there is a system incorporated into the piano until you take a peek underneath the piano. It is a wonderful example of a very lightly used Steinway model B - with the added benefit of a player system, to hear artists like Elton John, Rachmaninoff, the Beatles and more, come alive on this instrument.
