This amazing instrument can be found in churches, Music Studios, Living rooms and performance venues across Northern Alberta. Steinway’s designs, like the wide tail allow for this majestic piano to perform more like a concert or stage piano. The string length, soundboard area make for the ultimate in expression and dynamic range in the Boston line up of pianos designed by Steinway & Sons.
The most popular grand piano in the Steinway line up, the Steinway & Sons Model B Grand Piano is regarded as the “perfect piano”worldwide!
The Steinway Model B is a magnificent 6' 11" (211 cm) grand piano. It is a wonderfully balanced and versatile instrument that does extremely well in refined homes, teaching studios, and mid-sized venues. Think incredibly wide dynamics, super deep bass and resonance that seems to last forever. The model B is also available as a Steinway Spirio, the world’s finest high resolution player piano.
At Piano Centre, we describe the GP163 from Boston as “a small grand that plays like a bigger grand.” The GP163 is a grand piano that although it doesn’t take up a large physical footprint, it can fill even the largest rooms with glorious piano sound.
At 5' 4" (163 cm), the GP-163 Performance Edition II is small enough to fit in any home, but possesses the sound of a much larger grand — thanks to its widetail design.
